Unsung Heroes Ceremony honors local public servants

Tuesday evening, the Metropolitan Lubbock Rotary Club and Prosperity Bank co-hosted the 10th Annual Unsung Heroes Recognition
Ceremony to honor outstanding public servants in the Lubbock community.
The ceremony took place at the Prosperity Bank Conference Center and was hosted by Lubbock District Attorney, Matt Powell.
The 2012 Unsung Heroes of Lubbock are:
Deputy Fire Marshal, Brent Smith
EMS Field Training Officer, Chad Curry
Sheriff's Criminal Investigator, Sgt. Bo Roberts
Police Detective, Christopher Paine
Each person was selected by peers in their respective organizations.
The Unsung Heroes Ceremony was created to memorialize the heroic first responders in the 9/11 tragedy. It serves as a reminder
to us all celebrate the brave efforts of local men and women who stand in the way of danger everyday for Lubbock's citizens.
